If there is a "Title" on a template, can you change the words and keep the style? And if so how? I am very new at this. Thanks in advance!!

Sometimes you can and sometimes you can't. It depends on how the designer does the template. If it is on a layer that says delete, then no, you can't. If it is on a layer that has a T for text, sometimes you can but sometimes it changes the font in your program. Hope that helps. If it has a T for text, then you can just double click on it, and it should go to it.... oh... and I meant to tell you this is for PS.

If the "title" is still text then you can click on the layer (a white box with a "T") and edit the text retaining the style. But, some designers rasterize the title so it becomes an object, in that case you can't edit it.

I never knew that!
Wow, speaking of live 'n learn :)

If on the subject. Does this show in the Designers tou usually?

I just came across this subject in two challenges and was confused as the titles were objects but saw LO's with replaced titles. Sure enough the tou's showed permission to change them.

Now I look even more closely on them!

Sometimes in the TOU the designers will list fonts used and then you can replicate it!

(obviously this only applies if the layer has been flattened or rasterized - if it hasn't been you can see what font is used lol)
