What do you wish you were better at scrapbookwise? And what do you do to try and achieve that.

Tell me YOUR story.

I would love to be more arty!! My first love is the paper scrapped look but I SO admire arty pages. I also love white space and minimalism..a total opposite to what I usually create. I cruise the galleries looking for ideas to try and become more comfortable with the styles outside of my comfort zone. I will try out some tutorials from time to time...Jan has some good ones on the GS blog and I check out YouTube tutorials from time to time. I havent taken a class for ages so maybe that could be a goal for the future.

I would like to be faster! Although I do like that I spend the time relaxing and going at my own pace... sometimes I would like to be quicker. I always hem and haw over the smallest little details. LOL I can bet no one would ever notice the little tweak of a flower or staple. HAHA

If you have seen any of my YouTube videos, you know what I'm saying! LOL

I would agree with @GingerScraps with being faster. It takes me forever to do a page, from deciding kit, photos, then deciding layout (I don't use templates very often, but starting to). changing things around, adding, subtracting, going and browsing GS:ROFLMAO:.
I have liked the slow scrap. I do it all at once, but I tend not to overthink the process -- I just follow the directions.
I have at times set the timer for 1 hour and set that as a goal to have a page done.

I wish I was good at creating titles, I do so envy your ability to made creative titles Jill but it seems when I am looking at my page I just cannot think of a clever title.
@bkasko I often have the photo and the title and journalling in my head before anything else and I enjoy creating the titles. Always interesting to hear of other people's likes, dislikes, practices, processes....hence this series of Scrappy Questions

@DebraB Hi Debra, thanks for you input. Like I said above, it takes me forever to do a page too. Choosing kits, choosing which papers to use from the chosen kits takes me forever, I might bring ten or more papers into my page, flicking them on and off to find the ones that work best for me.....and then I might even start all over again with a different kit....sigh....I have decided to embrace the indecision as a skill :D

I'm always looking to increase my technical knowledge in using the software (PhotoShop) so that I can be as efficient and creative as possible.
I love that you are always looking to learn more about your software Shana. I know Phosotshop can do so much more than the absolute joy I already I get out of it. I should set a goal to learn more!! Thanks for the nudge!!

Oh my gosh ... my dream was to be Jill Walls. She had a style that was soooo, I can't even begin to describe it. Sort of ephemeral, wispy, other-worldly, dreamy. I just loved it. I was on her team at PP and learned a lot from her before she passed away. I miss her so much. I've never found anyone else like her or any other style like hers.
