What are your Plans for Canada 150th on July 1?


im hosting a geocaching event for a special souvenir for Signal visiting a Canada.

im also attending a car show with my vette to help raise funds for Canada's homeless veterans.

Hopefully hit the fireworks in town in the evening.

My husband's mess is hosting Canada Day celebrations, so we'll be there for Canada 150. We should have a good view of the city's fireworks from the Mess grounds.

Not going anywhere near Ottawa, as I expect it will be insane. I remember Ottawa on Canada 125 - I met a bunch of friends downtown at Major's Hill Park and we watched the entertainment and fireworks. We had a LONG walk home, though, as downtown Ottawa was absolutely insane. So going to avoid Ottawa this year!

I thought Ottawa Hill was insanecon Victoria Day, I think I would skip the 1st too.
