New Years Eve Food Recipes

This year we are staying home and having my Mom and brother (that just recently moved back home) over for dinner. It will probably be an early night as we aren't usually midnighter's.

Here's my dinner menu:

Honeybacked Cilantro Salmon
Maple Glazed Pork Chops
Baked Potatoe
Baby Carrots
Field Greens with Vinaigrette

Dessert:
Chocolate Avalanche Cake

But seriously, that sounds so yummy. I need your salmon recipe for sure.
 
We have changed over the years as our kids have gotten older. Now, we find that we like to have our own NYE party and just invite friends over - casual like. Nothing fancy.

Last year's Menu:
Prime Rib sliders
Salmon
salad
Plus, tons of bites:
Charcuterie plate
7 layers dip & chips
crab dip & crackers
fruit tray
veggie tray
meatballs

Obviously, the hors d'oeuvres were the bigger item and we snacked most the night. We didn't really want a true sit down meal, more something that people could mostly walk around with and still chat.
