Hi everyone! hope you all are doing well!
For the month of January, we will be reading:

The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society: A Novel by Darien Gee (goodreads description)
It's an adult-fiction contemporary romance, I've never read anything by this author, so this will be my first book. A friend who's already read this book told me she loved it and would love to see it adapted into a miniseries, so I hope we can read it together.
We will discuss the book all month long.
Just to recap, we'll be reading books that you all choose through a vote from 11th to 17th, we will follow this outline, for a better organization, and to give a chance to everyone to get the books on time. So, please start suggesting books you'd like us to read together IN THIS THREAD, all genres are welcome, and you can add as many as you like!

Very cool if we could meet up in person! Twenty years ago, I met up with some paper scrapbookers. Turns out one of them owned an office furniture store about 1.5 miles from my office, and we live about 5 miles from each other. Sadly, we haven't seen each other in I think 18 years.

Excited to read the book!
 
@lizziej how interesting! I wonder how many of us have done paper scrapbooking, and how lucky you are to live so close. I understand that sometimes it's not easy to find the time to be in touch, and even if you live nearby, it's not always easy to visit, and life is so busy sometimes.
