Ideas to Add a Lock of Hair to Layout?

I got my 14 month old grandson's hair cut for the first time this week. I saved some of his blond curls and was hoping to somehow add those to the layout when I get it done. What would be a good way to do that? Back in the "paper scrapbooking" day, they used to sell tiny, clear envelopes for things like that, but now I can't find any that small - and I don't want to spend a lot when I only need one. Any ideas?

I know, I used to do this back in the paper age with ticket stubs and travel stuff...so now I take a photo of items and put it in a digital plastic pocket. I haven't done hair but depending on the color you could put it behind a piece of paper to photograph so it shows up better. Maybe you can make a plastic pocket from acetate paper?

I’ve actually used those clear name badge holders on layouts back in my paper scrapping day. What’s fun is they have a hole at the top that we’d tie ribbon or string to. Back then we bought them super cheap at an office supply store. But I did a quick search and you can get them on Amazon for $3-$5.

I’ve added items atop a digi page. Print your page - then place the lock of hair in a little plastic pocket or between a laminating paper.

Can you take a photo of the lock of hair and then make a frame for over it with a clear glass type style...I am not that good at doing digital scrapping so just an idea don't know if it will work or not

If you search for clear archival bags on Amazon, they have some that would work. If they are too large, you can cut them down. Try searching for the following. If you click on any of them, it gives you a choice of sizes. They are archival quality and are around $6 for 25 4x6 bags. They have smaller, but there are more of them and they are more expensive. Go figure! Anyway, it is an option.

If you print your pages and put them in slip covers, you can cut a corner of an unused slip cover and turn that into pocket. Those are archival also.

If you don't care about archival quality, there are all kinds of resealable pockets purchases come in. Take any of those and resize them into a pocket.
