How Does Everyone Reduce their Pages to Post here at GS?

I am on Photoshop and, fortunately, there is an easy way to reduce pages for posting on the web. If you go to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy). From there, you can change the page to 600x600. It displays the estimated file size in the bottom left. If it is still too large, you can reduce the quality by a point or two until it is under 500k.

Yes thats how I reduce mine down in photoshop.
I was using PSP9 for a while to do animated tags but can't remember for the life of me how I made my the files smaller in there

I use an action I bought many years ago. During the action it has a step where it sharpens the image which helps make it crisper looking when downsized. I make mine around 250kb.

My process is different because I use Affinity Suite. I export my layouts as 1000x1000 and lower the quality until I get below 450kb which is typically around 90 quality.
I know the gallery says, "
*Max LO size 600 by 600 pixels and under 250kb", but I have always exported as mentioned above and my layouts always upload everywhere with no issues.

I basically do the same thing. I have created myself an action that sharpens and then reduces image size. It's a bit complicated because different websites have different size requirements, but saving at 600 x 600 seems to work most places!

I could do that--I have Photoshop--but instead I resize with a little program called IrfanView. It lest you view your photos & videos with file extensions I've never heard of, and it's free. :)

I make my layout 12x12 at first. Open a blank page 600x600 and drag and drop to new size than I drag the corner to fit the page.

That's exactly how I do it!
