Hopeful Return from DigiScrapping Hiatus

Lately I have been having a renewed interest in digiscrapping and playing in Photoshop Elements after a 7 year hiatus. Was rather disappointing to find all my previous digiscrap "homes" have closed. Fortunately I found this site through newsletters from designer Connie Prince. Am looking forward to...but also kind of dreading the learning curve involved with relearning all the skills and knowledge that have slipped away related to digiscrapping. What used to be second nature is again a new challenge to overcome. Hoping the journey will be rewarding.
 
Welcome to GS!! There are a lot of tutorials here on the blog that may help you out. I personally scrap with GIMP, though, not PE. Jump in and try some challenges and check out the "Welcome Wagon" where you can download a free mini kit/temp from each of the wonderful GS designers!!
 
Welcome back to the digi scrapping world!! It is sad that so many digi sites have closed but you hae lucked onto a good one here as I found out after my own scrapping hiatus. Your scrapping skills are still there just waiting to be reactivated. Dive in and go for it!! I look forward to seeing your work in the galleries.
 
Seven years!! I'm glad you are back!!

As far as the learning curve, it's just like riding a bike--you never really forget. You are rusty at it, but the more you try/scrap, the better/easier it becomes. You'll be back full-force in no time!!
 
Welcome to GS, and welcome back to digiscrapping. You'll be happy to know that there are lots of tutorials posted in the blog every Tuesday. Yeah, it was sad to know that lots of sites has closed over the years.

Hey... welcome back! I took a hiatus myself, as I know many of us have..... but you'll be surprised how quickly you re-learn those skills that you thought you lost! Glad to have you here. :)
