Help with the Daily Download links!!! Feb 11th

I am trying to download today's DD (Feb 11th) but I got this error message:
"

This site can’t be reached​

Check if there is a typo in bit.ly.
"

I checked with other links in the Ginger Scraps Blog, but there is no error there.
The links to other days' Daily Downloads are giving error messages too.

Please help!!
 
Are you saying you are getting errors on many of the February links or just today?
A screen shot would also be helpful :)
 
Can you girls tell me what browser you are using?
This has me a little stumped since it is only happening to a small number of people. Only the 2 of you have reported it so far.

I’m wondering if it is a browser issue. Maybe your browser is blocking bit.ly
 
Also, one more question, can you access the shop, blog, etc with no errors?
The error only happens when trying to download the daily download link?
 
I am using Chrome... And the error that started yesterday is continuing today...
I am going to try with Edge...
 
I tried with Edge, but got the same error...
However, with the links you sent me I could download without problem...
I guess it is the shortened version, which for some reason we cannot use...

I downloaded without problem days 1 to 10... But starting on the 11th and today, I get the error messages.
Now when I try to download again days 10 and 9, I couldn't either...

Can you please try to clear your history and cache and restart your device and see if that possibly will help? The other gal that was having the same error, the issue has resolved itself and it is working normally for her today, she replied to me via DM.

yesterday nd today, says site cant be reached but will download if you set a minute and then again..again.. i cleared cheche

Noooo, I cleared history and cache, restarted my computer and still got the error!!!
I tried with my phone (android) and got the error message, too...

I am devastated, don't know what else to do...
 
OMG!!! I don't know what happened, but the problem is no more!!
I went to other sites to look for a download and see it it worked and had no problem at all.
Then I returned to GS and went for day 13 and IT WORKED!!!

Thank you, Ginger, for your interest, your time and your concern in helping me.

It sounds like some kind of intermittent issue with bitly issue. Let's hope it doesn't pop up again!
Darn internet grimlins! LOL

Yes I can access everything but I cannot do a daily download. I have not been able to do a daily download for the last four days. Thank you.

Can you please try clearing your cache and restarting your device?
It look like an issue that is coming from bitly, so it does not seem like something I can personally fix. However I will be reaching out to them on Monday to see if they have any insight. If you are unable to collect the downloads and any of them expire, please DM me and I can send you the direct link (not the bitly shortened link).

I’ve updated the blog with new alternative links for each day. While we work through this issue, please feel free to use the alternative links 🙂

I’m also considering moving away from Bitly and creating a new workflow for the daily download links. Don’t worry – this won’t affect you all, and everything will continue to work as usual!
Seems like bitly is causing more trouble than help at this point. And I JUST got auto-billed $120 for the full 2026 year 2 days ago! UGH don't ya hate when that happens.

i highlight and copy, paste in html bar, down load starts, not easy to just highlight that but it works

might problem be the sneak peaks and link to download , are all connected
