Help with Gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure

Help me up with some ideas that are gifts of:

Time - time spent with friends and family, e.g.: Picnic, home movie night, home wine and paint night, church with parents, etc.

Talent - something created using a talent you have, e.g.: Poem you have written, scrapped album, home made calendar, chocolate bar with homemade chocolate wrappers. There may be some cost in the gift, but it should be minimal, using supplies you have at home.

Treasure - something you own that someone else would enjoy, maybe something they have always wanted e.g.: heirloom jewelry, a crockpot you don't need but kids would love, a shelf on a bookcase for a husband whose books have overgrown his shelves...
 
All good ideas. I would add maybe family stories to the treasure one. Sharing stories is a real treasure when they pass on.

Is this another project you have going on? I would love to hear about the whole thing.

Our Christmas gifts are gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure. We have to find something that is amazing and costs very little or nothing. So you can see the ones I mentioned above . I struggle sometimes coming up with new and inventive ones. The family stories is good and one that I have planned for this year. We did my mother's life story for her birthday and I am printing is out and binding it for my brother, me and each of our kids. Maybe one for my cousins to read also. We will see.

I also do a video of all the family pictures of the year set to music if I can. We watch random ones for the years I have done it on New Year's eve. I have not done it for some years, but if I have time will do it again this year.

My daughter is making my son, Steven a shirt that says Not Phteven. (He is always saying he is not Steven with a ph!)

I am making him one that says "I paused my game for this!"

We have all the materials for the two shirts, so it falls under "Talent!" Anything crafted is a talent :)

So... just picking brains, if I can :)

TIME
~~Family wine and paint night at home (youtube ART SHERPA!)
~~Meal prep days for my daughter
~~Photo shoot at Mission San Juan Capistrano for my husband in the spring (I have a pass)
~~Photo shoot at Mission San Juan Capistrano for my son and daughter-in-law in the spring (I have a pass)
~~Photo shoot at Mission San Juan Capistrano for my niece and her husband in the spring (I have a pass)
~~Camping trip with kids (they know my husband and I are going, but we are going to drag them along for fun!)
~~Wii Olympics day with kids (we will rent a room in our village and do it on a full wall screen, room rental is about $7)
~~Talent show night (we will rent a room in the village with audio / visual and schedule a night,
-------------Family will know ahead of time and will have to do skits, musical numbers, etc.
-------------We will order in Pizza. SO MUCH FUN)
~~Family pub night - English Food, Beer, Trivia Games and Karaoke
~~Chauffeur for a day for my mother (one of us will be her driver for the day and take her anywhere she wants)
~~Watch one episode of "The Treasure of Oak Island" for my husband (I do not enjoy this show :) )
~~Tea and Telly day with my 90-year old mother.

TALENT
~~T-shirts with HTV vinyl sayings
-------------PHSteven (Steven with a Ph)
-------------Difficult Times (has music staff with difficult music times on there)
-------------Those who think outside the Bachs (around the box are other composers)
-------------I paused my video game for this
-------------Bat-Nurse (my daughter-in-law is a nurse who loves Batman)
~~My mother's life story bound, including scrapped pages of photos for my brother and her grandchildren
~~Hand-made napkins/serviettes with logo
~~Family monthly calendar (includes all family birthdays and family pictures each month)
~~Office full page calendar with name and customized headings
~~Customized book marks
~~Year in Review video
~~Dress for my mother from her favourite pattern (we have fabric from other projects)
~~Family photoshoot
~~Catch up my husband's acting album with latest performances
-------------(I did the album for last year, but need to add this year's shows)
~~Fridge magnets of updated family pictures
~~Custom Candy Wrapper wrapped chocolate
~~Custom etched glasses (we have lots of extra wine glasses and I have etching Powder)

TREASURE (things we own and with a bit of talent can share!)
~~Group cousin picture and recycled frames for brother and cousins
~~1 piece each of heritage jewelry for daughter and daughters-in-law
~~1 Christmas ornament for each family member made from heritage jewelry. (Talent & Treasure!)
~~Favourite poetry book for my daughter-in-law
~~Calvin and Hobbes compendium for son, Steven
~~Year 2000 set Yugioh cards for Steven (my friend was giving them away)
~~Set of china for my daughter who is moving into her own place in March
~~Crock Pot for son Steven and his wife
 
You have so many great ideas already! Here is what came to my mind.


spa day with granddaughter, sister, daughter, mom - pedicure with foot soak in epson salts and essential oils and then paint each others toenails, and fingernails.

Bake cookies and deliver them to a shut in or a friend
