I have no idea what I've done, but I can't resize anything in a certain layer in GIMP without it trying to resize everything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I've having the same issue. I didn't have this problem yesterday. Does anyone know what I might have done?! :cryhard

I don't know about GIMP, but is it possible you could have linked the layers. Linking them would cause all linked layers to move together.

You have linked the layers. You need to restore as default. Open GIMP, go to edit (upper panel) then preferences, then down to window management, click in reset saved window position to default values, save and close the program and login again everything must be now as the first time you have used, it means not linked layers.

Lily Ann - I'm not actually sure how to do that. I opened a template like I normally would and went to resize a paper and it wouldn't let me.
Grace - I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work either. I have gone through every setting and I cannot figure out why it worked yesterday but not today :( And I'm crazy stressed so this isn't helping that I can't have my normal stress reliever.

Glad you figured it out, even if it meant reinstalling.... I am not a GIMP expert, but I did have to teach GIMP for a graphics class one time. It was amazing what crazy things some students did with their settings :)

It is good to keep updated with GIMP. Their updates are worthwhile as they very often contain great new features. It is a wonderful product.
