I thought I'd take a minute to properly introduce myself since I've signed up a while ago and never really said hi.
I'm Marjan, a Dutchie, living in the North of Holland in a great town called Groningen. I'm 47 yo, have a 7 year old son and a husband (although we're not married but living together, I do like to call him that

) I am a homecare worker, for 3/4 days a week and I love it.
I started digital scrapbooking and designing way back in 2008, had a blog about scrapbooking and lots of freebies because I never felt the need to sell anything but just wanted to share my designs. The blog had lots of visitors and it was really nice, but then my son was born in 2011 and I quit scrapping for a long, long, long time. I picked it up in between other hobbies but never really got into it anymore. Until last year I got a new printer and recently a new laptop too, I just picked it up again and found how relaxing and fun it was. Oh.. yes and timeconsuming.

I've recently started designing again, and love doing it. I share my work on my (new) blog, it's still pretty empty but I think that's just a matter of time, lol.
I do have lots of other hobbies, I love drawing and painting, making jewelry, watching Netflix etc. reading, going to the movies etc. etc.
It just means I'm never ever bored.

Welcome to Gingerscraps and also back to scrapping and designing! I took a 7 year break for scrapping and am so thankful to have gotten by the bug again. There is something so rewarding with creating something. Be sure to check out our challenges. There is such a great variety to choose from to get your scrapping mojo going!
 
I hope we get to see some of your layouts in our galleries soon! You are welcome to use your own designs as long as you don't link to anything externally! We have a few people from your part of the world on our site also, so that will be fun for you to get to know them!
