Hello from Quebec!

Hi!

I don't remember if I opened a post here, the first time that I came.
So, I make it now :)

I'm coming first from StudioGirls (Scrapbookgraphics) who closed his doors. And from The Digichicks, who just closed too. It's hard to go away from our digi-home.
But I love the fun & positiv presentation from the Gingerscraps site (and I receive and discover the newsletter since more than 1 year, I think, and all time with joy!) :)

In real life, I living in Quebec province, but coming from Bretagne (France), so I must say sorry in advance for the mistakes I surelly going to make in english.
I'm mother of 4 kids and 5 fur-kids (3 cats, 1 dog and 1 horse), so not so much time to digiscrap ;) And I would like to learn to designing, one day!
 
Welcome to Gingerscraps. What part of France are you from? My son was there in the Lyon and Nice areas for 2 years.
 
Welcome to Gingerscraps. I can relate to your feelings of sadness with a losing a digi-home- so many wonderful sites have closed- but I am confident you will find happiness here as I have. There are so many different challenges to participate in and provide inspiration and motivation for making pages. Be sure to check out the Welcome Wagon area for some wonderful designer gifts to begin building your Gingerscraps stash.

Oh I know that feeling all to well! I have been there too with ScrapMatters and The Digichick. But I feel sooo welcome here at Gingerscraps and there are so much fun going on everywhere on this place - I love it already! <3

Welcome - It is so hard when a site that you called home shuts down. It feels as though you have moved and need to find all new places to do things...There are quite a few of us who settled here after the Digital Scrapbook Place closed some years ago. I know it has become my digital home and I just love it here. I think you will, too. The site is very welcoming and has great designers. I hope you just jump right in. You are very welcome to use any of your existing products, your layouts will still get lots of lovely comments. We are delighted to have you join us... Don't worry about your English - we have quite a few international folks. We are impressed that you have English at all and will overlook any mistakes you make... I speak a little French, so feel free to PM if you need anything.

Welcome! I'm also new here and came from Scrapbookgraphics, then the Digichick. So we have a lot in common already. And don't worry about your English. I can't speak French so you are way ahead of me. My husband is Slovak and despite living in the US since 1969, his English isn't perfect. I'm so used to it that I don't even think about it.
You'll have a good time here, I'm sure.
 
Hello! Welcome to Gingerscraps, I heard about the closing of Digichick and I'm really sorry about that news. I hope you will find a new scrapping home soon, for the mean time, stay a while and join us in our challenges and our love for chatting, we'll make sure that you will enjoy your stay :)

Oh hi Jenny! I love the alpha you used in your siggy :) Can you tell me in which kit did you find it please?
 
It’s actually a font. I added a bevel style and clipped paper to it from the kit I used, I Love Volleyball from Wimpychompers. I can see what font it was when I can get to my laptop. :)
