Hi, I'm GSusie and I'm a mother and grandmother who loves the beautiful, creative world of scrapbooking. I'm still in beginner status in creating my scrapbook pages, and I've utilized many quick pages from all of the talented designers for my family pics, but I'd really like to expand my skills and learn how to create lovely unique page layouts like the ones featured in the gallery. While I'll never be as talented as your contributers to the gallery, I have purchased many kits and templates and hope to put them to good use. My youngest son is special needs and we have lost both his father and his grandmother (my mom) within the last year so we've kindof been in a doldrum. I think scrapbooking is an activity that both my son and I could enjoy doing together, so I'm hoping to make this a new dual family effort. I want to thank all of you for your warm welcome, and the opportunity to participate in your forum. God Bless, GSusie
 
Welcome. I hope that both you and your son have fun scrapbooking and you;'ll find lots of inspiration and ideas here. If you have any questions, there are lots of scrappers here to help you out.

Sorry I am so late welcoming you. I hope you have not given up on joining us and posting some layouts. In fact, I hope to see some layouts posted soon. You will love all the inspiration and things we do here. It is such a wonderful site and so very welcoming. It would be a wonderful activity to do with your son.
