I cannot keep a shirt on my 7 year old daughter, I am constantly telling her to put on a shirt and pants around the house because shes trying to run around in her undies and I also have a 10 year old son. Obviously she does not have anything "there" but Id still like her to be dressed. To be fair, I also make sure that my 10 year old boy wears a shirt too so as not to set a double standard.

Is this an issue for anything else?
 
I have a son who didn't like to match his clothes up with the seasons. As he grew older, he still wouldn't. That only worked when we lived in Hawaii. He's 21 now and still wears shorts and flip flops out in the snow. SO no, clothing malfunctions are perfectly normal in kids. :)
 
I never had that issue. I have a daughter who is 15 and since she started maturing, she wears a bra and covers up 24/7.

15 already???? Time flies! ♥

Never had clothing issues. WE have just one daughter [although my husband had a son and daughter- prior marriage]. Never an issue. Our daughter was a diva for clothes. She was also a dancer and used to changing 'wherever'.

Grandchildren- age 2 and 5. No issues, but little miss is a diva. Likes to match and keep her shoes on. Sometimes they will run naked thru the house but not often. Big brother could care less.

Aside from the fact that I had one who liked to take all his clothes off all the time and go outside? It did improve as he got older though...He is 28 and dresses just fine.

Seriously, I always had a double standard about a lot of things with my boys versus my girl. I always had her cover her top, even as a little one. It may be a double standard, but it made ME much more comfortable.
 
4 boys 1 girl, they all went through a lack of clothes phase. We live in the tropics though so I wasn't too fussed if they were in undies if it was just us at home. My daughter is 15 now & she dresses quite well most of the time my 4 year old at the moment, we are lucky to keep undies on him!!
 
Hehehe! My daughter used to be like that when she was 4, she said it was too hot to wear shirt and shorts. But one time when our neighbor knocked on our door and saw her in her undies, I teased her saying that our neighbor will tell her son that she saw her buck naked. I think it had an effect on her, maybe she got embarrassed because since then she would always wear clothes :)
