Favorite movie(s) to binge watch in December

Hubby and I are having discussion about the best holiday movies to watch. It seems like our streaming service has been flooded with tons of both new and classic Christmas movies.

My mother always loved "White Christmas" so I like to watch that one each year in her honor.
I enjoy "Elf" as I like to laugh.
Hubby says his favorite Christmas movie is "Die Hard" because he is wanting to be difficult tonight. LOL.

We've tried watching a few of the new movies... some are fun (like Spirited), but others were just meh.

What are your go-to December movies? Which do you recommend?
 
I love the 1994 Miracle on 34th Street, I usually watch it Thanksgiving night :) It's a nice little bit of both Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I agree with you that Elf is always a good time, it cracks me up. I liked Spirited as well.

I dive into Hallmark Movies each year too! I just love them :) I know they are predictable and corny, but I still love them.
 
The Muppets Christmas Carol is a MUST at our house. Surprise! Surprise!

HaHa! Our family has had quite the debate on this. I voted Christmas movie. :laughhard:

My other favorites include Elf too, and also A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. Spirited is on my list to watch, hopefully soon!
 
I don't care for the really old ones, or the really sappy ones. I watched one a couple nights ago, because Rob Lowe, need I say more, not expecting much, but I loved it once I got over the tears, that were abundant. Gorgeous movie. It is called Christmas in the Wild from 2019 I think and is on Netflix.
 
I'm with you, Sherri... I don't go for the overly sappy movies. Hubby loves the Hallmark movies. The more sap, the better!
 
I love watching the Hallmark Channel this time of year, too! Maybe sappy but very light-hearted and a real feel-good touch to many of them. :)
 
Light-hearted and feel-good is just what this season needs, Karen... I completely agree! :)
 
We always watch Prep & Landing (I know, not a movie, but there are 2 of them so...)

A Christmas Story
And a new one I like to throw in the mix is Noel, which was a Disney+ production the first year they were out
