Favorite dishes to have pre-made while scrapping?

Greetings, all! I am excited that my local scrapbooking friends have started having their monthly crops again. While I'm the only digi-scrapper in our group, I bring my laptop and listen to all of the chatter and applaud their page creations.

The group is wanting to do a pot luck and I'm looking for dishes that can be pre-made and brought to share with the gals. What are some of your favorite recipes or dishes to pre-make when you have a day of scrapping?

The girls suggested having a taco bar, so that could be fun. I'm also trying to think of healthy (yet tasty) options to share with the group. Any thoughts?

You could do something like a warm bean or cheese dip in a slow cooker. Or meatballs in a slow cooker. I have recipes for those but they are definitely NOT healthy, lol. A taco bar sounds tasty :) You could bring a healthy fresh salsa or guac to something like that.

Finger sandwiches, crackers and cheese, olives, nuts, variety of salads... cold slaw, potato, fruit salad, lettuce with anything...

Thank you for the suggestions. We had the taco bar. Some brought meat, dips, chips, tortillas... but most of the gals brought wonderful sugary fatty desserts! Ha! They looked soooo good, but I resisted. I brought a low-sugar, protein bar instead. Ugh.

I typically try to go with "Tailgate" foods when it comes to things like this!
This is one of my favorites:

Some of my other "go to" items are:
hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls
mini quiche
cheese and spinach quesadillas
waffles with jams and jellies to spread
mini meatballs

I have also gone the 'quick route' and done things like wings, 6 foot sub (ordered from walmart), cheesy bread sticks, etc.

Oh Lisa... you're a genious! Next crop, I'm TOTALLY ordering a sandwich platter! So smart!!!!

The walmart one ROCKS. Choice of meat and cheese....and they give you bottles for all the condiments. Easy peasy!

I was too late to offer ideas but sounds like you got some good ones. Good for you for being strong and not over-indulging. I know how hard that can be.
