Do you....?

...have a GS kit that you return to again and again?
...some that you have used more than once or twice?
...or one that you bought just because you loved it but had no use for it

My story:
I go between a choice of 3 beach inspired kits each time I do a beach LO or I use one of them with a piece or two from the others

Under the boardwalk by Tracey Monette

Boardwalk by Aprilisa

Barafundle Bay by Sea Trout Scraps

Zoo inspired kits are another of my "return to" kits
Key Lime's Wild Thing
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Wild-Thing-Kit.html
has been my only zoo kit and I have used it several times but I recently acquired
Tracey Monettes King of the Pride
https://store.gingerscraps.net/King-of-the-Pride-Full-Kit-by-Trixie-Scraps-Designs.html
and I am excitedly waiting to use that one

and being a grandma of several sporty kids, I have used
Magical Scraps Galores' Sports Galore many times.
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Sports-Galore.html

Others I have used several times are
GS Warmth of Family
https://store.gingerscraps.net/GingerBread-Ladies-MEGA-Collab-Warmth-of-a-Family.html
GS Happy with a Twist
https://store.gingerscraps.net/GingerBread-Ladies-Collab-Happy-With-A-Twist.html
(as evidenced by my Nov. sig and avi:))

Two I have used more times than any others are
Smells Like Teen spirit by MSG
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Smells-Like-Teen-Spirit.html
That's What You Said by BHS
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Smells-Like-Teen-Spirit.html

I am fascinated by the Halloween kits instore but we don't do Halloween in any big way here in Australia so I have never been able to justify a purchase. THIS year, I actually found an old photo of our granddaughters dressed up as witches for a school activity and I also went to the stores and took photos of their Halloween sales displays just so I could have an excuse to buy a Halloween kit...oh dear... *blush*

A kit I have that I acquired just because I liked it is
Mrs Sew and Sew by MSG
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Mrs-Sew-N-Sew.html
but have had no use for it so far. However, I went to a quilt show recently so I could probably make it work for that.

This was fairly easy for me...I have been active and acquiring GS product here for less than a year. It might be a hard task for those whose stashes and galleries are way bigger than mine. Give it a go and tell me YOUR story.

That's a great question Jill! I have to admit, I used to return to kits more often before I was on some creative teams. Now I tend to just work on my CT layouts, instead of turning to some of my favourites. Although I do go back and reuse a kit when it is just perfect for the photos I want to scrap.

For National Park photos, like Jasper (and I'm still working on my Jasper book), I've used Clever Monkey Graphics' Gone Hiking Bundle over and over again:

For my Fall/Autumn photos, I used Clever Monkey Graphics Fall Flock over and over again as well. The birds are just so cute!

When I'm creating a themed cat layout (I often use non-cat kits for my cat layouts, but sometimes I want to scrap on theme), I'm finding myself returning to Connie Prince's Cat's Meow frequently:

For my wedding photos (yes, I'm still not finished my wedding book, despite that it was back in 2004!) I find myself reusing two kits by Ooh La La Scraps:

https://store.gingerscraps.net/Love-Is-Digital-Scrapbook-Collection.html

Another kit I've used multiple times in the past, especially for photos I've modified via a watercolour app is Stained Era by Little Feet Digital Designs:
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Stained-Era-Bundle.html

Finally, although it's now retired, I've used We Remember by Key Lime Digi Design multiple times for WWI battlefield and memorial photos. It's the only one I've found with a suitable poppy for Remembrance. I would love a proper Remembrance Day kit (if any designers are reading, hint, hint!)

I have several that I tend to reuse. Lemme see if I can remember them now!

Perhaps my most used GS kit is Martial Arts by Connie Prince. I have 3 boys (well, 2 boys and 1 manboy) in karate and a ridiculous amount of karate pics
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Martial-Arts-Kit.html
I also use her National Parks kit a ridiculous amount...

I also tend to use A Blessed Day, also by Connie Prince, a TON. I use it for every christening, first communion, etc, so it gets used a bit!
https://store.gingerscraps.net/A-Blessed-Day-Kit.html

Another one I use a LOT is Family Heritage by JoCee Designs. I love the colors - so I tend to use it for family pics, fall/autumn pics, pretty much anything
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Family-Heritage-Digital-Kit.html

As the mom of boys, this one gets a lot of use! Super Heroes by MSG
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Super-Heroes.html

When I want something nice and bright and summery, I use Splish Splash by JoCee Designs
https://store.gingerscraps.net/Splish-Splash-Digital-Kit.html

As for ones I don't use... I have a lot of those too... I actually thought about putting ones I haven't used yet in a separate folder and only moving them once I have used them at least once!!

Oh dear michi...some you have purchased several times?? Oopsie:D

I seem to find myself going back to JB Studio kits over and over. Even if her kits are themed, she also includes plenty of everyday elements you can use for just about any layout! I'll use her kits for a themed layout then a P52 layout. Fun, fun!!
