Hi everyone! hope you all are doing well!
For the month of December, we will be reading:
Lessons In Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
It's a tragicomedy, whose story was even adapted into a miniseries. I haven't read the book or seen the miniseries, so I'll be discovering it along with everyone who decides to join us.
We will discuss the book all month long.

The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society: A Novel by Darien Gee.
Please let me know in this thread, with your comments if you are agree that we'd read this book on January, or do you want to vote, including this book among others. I'll love to hear your opinions.
Just to recap, we'll be reading books that you all choose through a vote from 11th to 17th, we will follow this outline, for a better organization, and to give a chance to everyone to get the books on time. So, please start suggesting books you'd like us to read together IN THIS THREAD, all genres are welcome, and you can add as many as you like!

Lessons in Chemistry looks great! I haven't watched the show yet because I wanted to read the book first, so I'm happy about this pick!

I'm totally ok with The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society for our January read, also ok with doing another poll.
Haha, I guest I'm no help at all, since I basically have no strong options about it either way. LOL
I'm good with anything :)
 
I'm interested in read The Avalon Ladies, and even if the book doesn't win the vote, or if majority decide not to read it during January, it's a book I plan to read.
 
I am way late to the party this month because I was traveling for work and dealing with a burst pipe water in freezing weather disaster. I finally bought the book for my Kobo yesterday so looking forward to reading it.

I will try out this book club thing. I have never been in one. The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society is not available to me though my library so I have a hold on Lessons In Chemistry, available in 17 days.

I am still reading this book so it has never really grabbed my attention. We all have different tastes. I am determined to finish it to see how it all panes out in the end.
 
I have made the decision to put aside this book as it does not grab my attention. I am up to where she starts her cooking show on TV. I may one day go back and finish it but I have two other books I am wanting to get read on my kindle and I have a few paper books I would like to soon read.
You will not see me next month either.

Anne-Marie dear, please share with us the name of your books that you want to read, so I will put them on the poll.
This thread will remain open please feel free to share your comments if one day you read the book, I understand that all of us, have different tastes, and some kind of books simply don't catch our attention.
