Okay, I'm sure we can all use some smiles and cheering up! Let's share any and all blessings that have come from this international pandemic! (Or any other unrelated happy thoughts, blessings, or praises!)
I'll go first! The homeschool convention that my husband and I usually go to was cancelled. BUT, I found out that the curriculum company that we use is going to have a fall weekend retreat this year. I'd been wanting to go to it for a long time. I even signed up for it in the spring of 2016 but then they had to cancel on us. (Which at that time ended up a blessing because my husband's grandma passed away that weekend.) They hadn't published fall dates when I signed up for this convention. Biggest blessings: it'll end up costing us less than the hotel reservations that we thankfully hadn't made yet (lodging & meals included!), the toddler will be weaned by then so we won't have to bring him along (less distractions), and it's a better time of the year for grandparents to divide up all the kiddos to watch!
