Are You Happy Summer is Here?

Um, I’m kind of with you. It gets hot and humid where I live, so I’m not a huge fan of summer. But one nice thing about this summer is it is my youngest’s last before their senior year.
 
We get maybe a week of summer in july between rain and snow. if you blink you miss it. LOL.
I am looking forward to it.
 
I’ve always said I was born too far from the equator! I love summer and miss it dearly when it’s gone. And of course... golf... it’s kind of our thing. :)
 
I absolutely love summer so goodness only knows why I moved to the middle of Sweden! Having said that, I lived in England before that so it wasn't much better.

The next few days are forecast to be very warm and sunny but the general forecast for the rest of the summer isn't too good!
 
We were having such a lovely spring in Kansas, and then yesterday... BAM... it was 93 degrees! I'm not quite ready for those hot, sticky summer days just yet. We did have some incredible storms last night and today's weather is cooler. I'll hold on to spring as long as I can.

Typically, summer means a lot of youth programs for me. In non-pandemic years, I escort groups of teenagers to leadership camps and trips to Washington, D.C. However, this year we will once again have a virtual youth leadership conference. While I'm happy I'll be nice and cool, I sure miss interacting with students in person.

We've had 2 lovely sunny days, but it's cloudy again today.

Same here in Sundsvall! Beautiful weekend but cloudy again today. The forecast for the rest of the week is nice here though, and at the weekend!

Same here. I hope it will be a nice week. Working Wednesday, other than that I'm free to do as I please. I want some nice photo walks this week. I need lots of new photos to scrap. :)
 
Thank you for all the good stories, Ladies. This Thursday is supposed to be 105. ICK!!!!!

I went to Mass yesterday in a dress and my summer stockings and I was MISERABLE and it was only 100 degrees. I really need to get acclimated again!
