Hi all!!

I'm attempting to do the 365 challenge this year! I have been digitally scrapping for 18 years ago and this is my FIRST time attempting to do the 365 challenge.
I would LOVE to get a bunch of us in there all supporting and encouraging each other!!

I posted my first page, there are a handful of others too!
Come join us!!

You can catch up and do week 1 or just start where you are. Jump in at any time! Let's do this! :)

I enjoy this challenge as I do a daily page and it helps me with the challenges. It also helps you remember what really happened instead of what you think you remember

What an excellent encouragement. I am so patchy about doing this. I am so impressed with people who can keep up. I would love to :)

Right! I think it will be a really fun "diary" too! I'm excited to be able to look back at my daily life. That is one of the things I love about memory keeping, I just have never actually tried to do a daily/weekly challenge before, I'm really excited about it right now, I hope I can keep the momentum! I think having others to encourage and inspire would be super helpful!

You should try! I would love to see your pages! But of course, only if you will enjoy it <3 I know you have been overextended lately, so I do not want to add anything that would be a burden. .. but it might just end up being a JOY! :) I would love to have you join me!

I have been doing a monthly page for some years. I think a couple of years I did daily photos. Then one year I did weekly pages.
Not sure what I will do this year as I am taking less and less photos.

I have been doing this for a few years, but there were a couple of years where I fell too far behind and never filled the gaps. Last year I finally got my groove and found what works better for me.
I do a 4 page monthly recap spread which I call my Little Moments Project. I set it up at the beginning of the month and my goal is to wrap it up no later than the 7th of the following month. I do this all pocket style and as the month goes along I may move things around to better fit what I want to document. I create a 4 page spread in Affinity and love having the whole month in front of me as and my goal is to work on a pocket or two daily so I don't fall behind.

One huge tip I have for doing something like this is every single day I journal in the Day One app. https://dayoneapp.com/
This is my "diary" and I write down those little moments of the day as the day goes along adding at least one photo every single day. Those photos and thoughts are often what end up going into my Little Moments project and my other layouts. This way life is all recorded quickly and easily, I don't forget those little things that happened that day, and then when I have more time I can sit down to my monthly layout pages and turn my daily journaling into scrapbook pages.
I also use the Day One app to keep track of every single scrapbook page which I created. I write down the kits I use, where I have shared online and the journaling I have added to my page. When the layout is done I save the layout back to my phone camera roll and the photo of the layout also goes into my Day One entry.

I'm going to join in. I have been taking more photos with my phone lately so I'm sure I can scrounge up at least 1-2 every week and make a page. It's a great way to document the little things and use the random photos I take.

That is one thing I do love about the prompts, it has helped me already and we are only 13 days into the year! LOL
I have a pretty simple life, I'm single and my kids are grow and no longer live with me. I lost my dog 5 years ago and have not gotten a new pet and I work from home, so I don't always have a lot of "exciting" moments or photos to capture. But with the class I'm doing this year, there are daily prompts with ideas of how to tell your daily story. Maybe that is something you would be interested in. But of course it is totally ok to just not be interested in trying to tackle this year. You are always scrapping and I love seeing all your pages!

Great tip with the day one! I will look into that for sure! I look forward to seeing your pages! Post them in the challenge area here if you can so I don't miss them! Project 365-52 Challenge {2024} Host: Missi
Since it is a monthly page, I guess you would post it on the first week of each month thread? I *Should* be posting in every weekly thread, so no matter where you post, I should see it! I'm totally jazzed about it now and super excited to do my little daily scrapping, I HOPE it sticks and I keep up with it all year.

Yahoo!! I can't wait to see your pages!

Ginger, you have inspired me.
I found the website I used before for daily prompts - Fat Mum Slim. So I plan on starting today to take a photo each day.
For anyone interested you can find the website HERE

I did this site several years ago but have not been on in a year or two. May just have to go back as I like to take a photo every day but then wonder about what should I take today

Awesome! Thank you for sharing that! I look forward to your layouts :)

I have enjoyed seeing what you have already done for the year and I look forward to all your upcoming pages!

I agree about using the day one app, kristi. It’s awesome.
i frequently do project 52 verses 365 but my Journalling is private so I don’t post those pages, or I take off the Journalling and post but then the page can be too simplistic.

I started too late to do the first two weeks of taking a photo each day but here is my first week of doing it:
14th to 20th January:

Anne-Marie, those are both terrific! What is the name of the font you used? It is highly legible when most handwritten script fonts aren’t, is why I’m asking.

I always try to list the fonts I use but you possibly did not go to the gallery ( my page is linked). I am finding that font I used for the journaling do be a good one and it is called " Ink Free". You can find it HERE

Ginger, I will not keep sharing all my pages here but anyone is welcome to look in my gallery to see my weekly pages. HERE

Okay, so I prepped myself for doing this yesterday. I have a few weeks to catch up on, but I will definitely be able to do that now.

I used an Excel spreadsheet to calculate the dates for each week and another one to create the days for the year (day, date). I turned those into text and used them to make folders for each week and then sorted pictures into those folders.

I created a text file for the news each week and went back and caught up on the headlines. I created a template for each week with just blocks. I would love to use purchased templates, but they take so much longer, and I want to make this simple for me. I wrote a batch file to create text files named for each week for my journaling and manually added the days within each file. Then, I typed in my journaling from my hand-written journal.

I feel very accomplished :) I know it is a bit overboard, but it was fun doing it that way and it is very motivating for me.

Impressive!! That is super cool! I can't wait to see all your LO's

I am starting from the beginning. I will catch up in the next few days. These can't go for the challenge because they are in the wrong month. There is a left side and a right side for each month.

WEEK ONE Left Side:

WEEK ONE Right Side:

I completed my four January recap pages a couple of days ago and uploaded them into the gallery this morning. (they uploaded in the opposite order that I thought they would but Oh Well!.)
They can't qualify for the challenges since I never share them until the previous month is complete because I work on them as a 4 page spread often tweaking things as I go along.

-Templates are all created from scratch by me.
-Elements are from from various kits and a few graphics found online.
