Air Fryer?

Does anyone have one of these? I suck at frying food, so I usually bake everything. But this looks like a healthy alternative that won't heat up my house so much. I very rarely turn on the oven in the summer. I'm looking at reviews, but I'd love to know if anyone here has tried one :)

I have a friend on fb who just bought one.... I'll keep you posted. :) I'm thinking about getting one too.

Yes I have one since December. My husband loves my air fried chicken and tater tots. I made Bacon Puff Pastry Pinwheels which were out of this world. You got to start with a cookbook to get ideas!

We have one and we love it. It is not as big as we would like, now we have it, but it really does a great job with minimal heat. We do fries, tater tots, chicken, samosas, eggrolls..... so much stuff. Perfect for quick late-night snacks, or a tasty quick meal. As I said, We have a small/medium one and I wish we had a larger one for three of us, but I am so glad we have it and we use it quite often.

We have one as well. The biggest problem here is also the size. With 2 boys, I can’t fit enough chicken/shrimp/even c to make a meal. Grea for snacks though

I've heard that's an issue for the small ones too. I'm probably going to get the bigger size. I don't want to have to waste time making batches of food.

We have one as well, and it's very good. Again, the size isn't great, but for smaller amounts it does a great job of crisping things like chips and pastry. :)

I've had one for a while and I love it. It IS small-ish but really perfect for just me. I love that I can put single serving size baking dishes with casseroles in it and keep the oven off; throw a piece or two of frozen garlic bread in while I'm making spaghetti, rewarm chicken tenders and fries gotten from the grocery store's hot bar, etc., etc. And I KNOW I haven't explored everything you can do with it...and cleanup is a snap, the basket and holder go right in the dishwasher.

What make brand and size do you have :) It sounds way bigger than mine!

I got one for Christmas, hubby got me the Power AirFryer Xl... I'm loving it so far!! In fact, so much so, that I bought the same model for the office I work at so I can stop eating out every day and just prepare a lunch at the office. My favorites are these 1-person meals our local grocery store has. Normally they go in the oven, but I just pop them in the fryer and 10 minutes later I have a pretty good lunch.

I've got the Power AF XI too. I wish it were bigger but it is fine for the 2 of us. I love sweet potato fries for me and white potato fries for my hubs. I'm getting stacking trays for mine to utilize the space for two levels of food cooking at the same time. The next thing I want to try is meatballs.

We got into air fryers a few years ago and bought the "Big Boss" at Wal Mart. It is large enough for us to cook full meals at once, even though it's just the two of us. My hubby is a big eater. We live in the south along the coast, so it's very hot in the summer, and this enables us to cook without adding heat inside our home. We've cooked all kinds of food that turns out perfectly, even BBQ ribs. Crispy French fries are quick and easy. To get started, make something from the cookbook that comes with whatever you purchase, then gather recipes from your friends on Facebook. Our takes up a good amount of space in the corner of our kitchen counter, but I think once you get used to cooking in one, you'll not mind that.
