A couple of years ago, I tried the #31DaysofJoy - sharing something that gives me joy for each day in December. I loved how it allowed me to really look for the Joy in the season and not get swept away with the hustle and bustle. I decided that I would do it again since I the last time was so amazing.

Join me??

Here is the last time that I did it in 2016. Back then, Dear Friends Designs made me a special template set to scrap my 31 pictures for it! Thanks Trina and Colleen. It looks like it is disabled, but if a bunch of us participated maybe we could talk them into re-releasing it or making us something new ;)

Here are the 2 layouts that I did:

Come on, Day 3 is the perfect time to start!

What a beautiful idea, Meagan! I'm always so wrapped up in the busyness of the season that sometimes I forget the reason for the season. Thanks for the opportunity to remember!

I am loving celebrating the Joy again. I find myself finding Joy everywhere and wondering which item I should use.

Meagan, it's funny you say that. I started out yesterday taking a picture of my husband and then my cat did the most adorable thing so I took a picture of him. Then I just kept finding things that brought me joy! Thank you so much for doing this. I went to bed so happy last night and today has been just as good.

Have we made any progress on the template that you had last year? I want to put all these pictures I'm taking somewhere, lol!

I am working on them, Lynn ;)

in the meantime . . .

this one would be good if you didn't get all 31 photos and just wanted to journal about the month

You could also use a calendar page like Connie's here:

This one for the Thankful 30 Days would work too

I just got the Thankful For You template from Dear Friends so I think I'll just start using that. Thanks for the ideas!

Lynn,
I know that something is coming out this Friday that you will be able to use.

I did this a few years ago as well and it is a nice way to find positivity in each day

I saw this today on Pinterest and thought that I would share

Meagan, I love that! I saw that you shared it on your FB page. I enjoy hearing about your daily joy!

Jamie, I actually bought it as soon as it came out last night, LOL! I'm so excited to have it! And, just keeping it honest, I pay for Netflix just so I can watch The Office whenever I want. No joke. I know, pathetic :(

Meagan, Thanks for the awesome words of encouragement!

you ladies have a great weekend!!!

I’ve been trying to do a pic a day for joy.

My daughters counseller mentioned to her today to find a joyful joyful thing every single day, so she is in too.

I bought the Dear Friends Template today too. Love it.

@meagan how did you get the Polaroid look on your example, was it the template or from a element, I love having space to write

I just saw this now, but I am totally in. Our family need to find things to be joyful about in December, since it will be the first anniversary of the loss of my boys' dad suddenly, due to cancer. :( Last year was awful, and I've been trying to come up with some things we can do to help them find some joy again this season.

I looked back at my photos and realized I've taken photos on most of the days, so I should be good to go!

That is awesome that you are joining in! I think it is something that you can do ANY time. It doesn't matter when you start and you shouldn't feel like you *have* to have something. It is all for you.

Yes, that template did have the polaroids as the photo spots. I liked it for the same reason. There are these polaroid frames that you can get:

I am glad to hear that you will be joining us in this challenge.
I remember when that happened last year. It must be really difficult for your boys and you. Finding little joyful things, especially during the holiday season (which is usually ones of the hardest after a loss), may help with the healing.
