Merry Christmas everyone!! For those that celebrate, when do you open gifts? Christmas Day or Christmas Eve? We used to open presents Christmas Day after Santa came! What about you and your family!!!

We celebrate a very traditional Cuban feast on Christmas Eve with our immediate family and open ONE present..My grown children and grandchildren celebrate with their respective inlaws on Christmas Day...American style

We do Christmas Eve with my Siblings and My Dad's side of the family and open gifts from each other. Christmas morning is spent with my parents and my Children opening Santa presents and gifts from each other. Then on Christmas afternoon my Mom's side of the family come over and we do Christmas dinner

We always did one Christmas Eve...[and not Cuban- or Hispanic], however I do miss the Noche Bueno dinners attended in the past. It's Christmas Day here.

We always opened one gift on Christmas Eve and I did the same with my kids. My daughter opened hers on Christmas morning and we're going to my son's today for Christmas with his family.

We go to the home of a childhood friend of mine for Christmas Eve, then the boys and I open our gifts to each other on Christmas morning before their dad picks them up.

As a kid, we opened presents at home on Christmas morning and then went to my Grandparents' house for our extended family celebration.
When we got married and had kids, we went to hubby's family celebration on Christmas Eve, then opened our presents at home Christmas morning and still went to my Grandparents' house.
With our daughter getting married this year, we've adjusted a bit more. They came over Tuesday evening to celebrate with us. Hubby, the boys & I stayed home Christmas Eve and watched Christmas movies together. We opened our Christmas presents on Christmas morning, then went to Grandpa's house. Today we're going to my mom's house for lunch.

Early Christmas morning after Santa comes . I woke the children up this year at 6.. much to my husband's dismay .

I've done it so many different ways throughout my life that there aren't really traditions around presents. My husband and I don't really give each other Christmas presents anymore, but when we did it was always on Christmas Eve because he's terrible about keeping presents a secret and couldn't wait one more day This year was my first with my stepson and we waited until Christmas morning, but not before some awkward posing in front of the tree.

It really depends on where we are at Christmas. If we are celebrating Christmas Eve with family, then everything but Santa presents will be opened. Otherwise, the kids get to open their presents from us on the first family celebration on Christmas.
