I'm going to try my hand at RQOTD today :)

Do you have nicknames for your kids?

I've always called my daughter "baby." I don't really have nicknames for my boys, though. I call them "boysenberries," but other than that, they don't each have one.

Christopher is called Chris by his friends but I call him Christopher still (he is a Jr so family always called him Christopher and his father was Chris). When he was a kid we called him Bozo (he loved Bozo the clown) and Bud.

I don't have a nickname for Cheyanne but her father always called her Peanut (she was born 2 months early and was always very very small). Her uncles still call her Peanut from time to time but she is Cheyanne 98% of the time - LOL. She hates to be called Chey and informs people in no uncertain terms not to call her that.

We have poop nicknames. My kids still cackle at them. :D
Madi is also known as Monkey (though she hates it now) and Ethan is Turtle.

Laura was and still often is YaYa.
Megan was Peagoober when an infant ehich changed to Goobey at some point. Her DH will call her "nagems" [megan- backwards- not a good idea though]
grandkids
Benjamin= Ben or Love bug
David-pretty much David, but Peanut before birth. Sometimes Lovebug or Buddy. To me- my munchkin man.
Sarah- pretty much Sarah, she was called Pookie before birth, and somtimes still is.
neither David or Sarah had their name until born.

My daughter, Kaylee, has a nickname of "Bug" or "accident waiting to happen" ha!

Trevor is most often called Trev, or Bud

Evan is called Ev or Red (he's my redheaded boy!)

Isaac is called Zik, used to be cry-zik because we found out his intolerance to dairy - poor baby CRIED.ALL.THE.TIME when nursing, I cut out dairy from my diet, and voila! A new kid! Still cant handle dairy, :(

My dad never called me anything but "Missy". Nobody else did but him. Nobody has since he died...:(

Adam is always called Bud or Buddy. When I was pregnant with him, Chris referred to the baby as Mini Me. He was convinced that he would have a boy and he'd look just like him. When Adam was born, the doctor looked at Chris and said "Omg, he is your mini me" We laughed because nobody knew we called him that except us! LOL.

When Isis came to us, she was so tiny (9 pounds at 5 months), we called her peanut for awhile. As she grew, and living in a small town at the time (less than 2000 people), we didn't want to use her given name in public for fear someone would reveal where she was to the birth mom. Chris started calling her Boo and I started using Izzy. It stuck and Izzy-Boo was her name for the longest time. Now it's been shortened and Chris just calls her Boo. LOL...he says he started calling her that because she looked just like BOO from Monster's Inc.

As soon as Jacob learned to walk, he learned to climb and the nickname Monkey was born. He's 10 and he is still called that on a daily basis much to his dismay lol.

Benjamin has snored since the day he was born, but it was more of a growl when he was little so I gave him the nickname Monster ;) Now that's he has his tonsils and adenoids out, he doesn't snore anymore, but the nickname isn't going anywhere!

My best friends daughter (whom I think of as my own) Kaila, I call KailaBoo. I don't really know why other then she lives to scare the crap out of me! lol She's a total daredevil and it will NOT surprise me at all if she joins the Military and goes into Ranger School or the Space Program or something. She actually told me and her mom the other day she's going to be the first astronaut to discover a dinosaur in space.

My son Lucas has several nicknames. His dad calls his "Diego". When he was much younger, he loved Ice Age and said one day that his new name was "Diego" and it's stuck with his dad. My mom called him "Lukie Dukie" when he was little, but actually she still does from time to time. I still call his "Lukie" from time to time. I just found out at school conferences, he goes by Luke at school though.

My middle son (Reed) had several ear infections and was quite clumsy and fell ALL. THE. TIME. So his nickname was and still occasionally is called "Biff" because he was constantly "biffing it".

And my youngest (Tyler) is also called "Ty Man" by me, dad & my folks.

And my DH calls me "Fred". LOL!

My kids have lots of nicknames, lol...

Jordan- J1, Jay, Bae (I totally started that trend! way back in 2008)
Jasmin- J2, Jassy, Jassybelle, Sassy Jassy, Joyful Jassy, Jassy Wassy
Joseph- J3, Joey, Joe, Jose, Joser

My boys have lots of nicnames... depends on my mood (and theirs) as to which one they get called. LOL

Xavier - Zay, Zavey, Slave-ier (this is when his Dad is getting him to do things for him a little too much "get the remote", "fill my glass" etc. drives me crazy), Slim Jim (middle name is James and he is VERY tall and skinny) and they are all Monkey's he's the smelly one so he is Funky Monkey. lol

Robert - Rob, Robbie, Bob, Bobbie, Bobert, Robo, and Chunky Monkey (he's not fat but he sure loves to eat! lol)

Preston - Prest, Prez, PJ, Prezzie-Doodle, Pickle Puss, Pumpkin Head, Spunky Monkey (he's the crazy one lol)
