Those Dauphin Island Sunsets

Journaling: One of our favorite things to do while at Dauphin is to watch the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Tonight's sunset looked like the sky was on fire and was made even more interesting by the heron in the tree and watching the shore birds run along the edge of the gently lapping waves.
No wonder that Dauphin is called the Sunset Capital of Alabama!

Journaling Reads: Memorial Day Sunday at Potato Creek
wouldn't be complete without S'mores!
Calvin & Rosie had been looking forward to S'mores from the moment they arrived.
I made a perfectly messy S'more which included chocolate graham crackers, a marshmallow with chocolate inside and a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Oh my was it good, but equally messy, but what is a S'more without the mess? You can see that Calvin & Rosie agreed!
