Creative Chaos - Smash book style

The benefit of our apartment complex is that it is on 66 acres so we have the best of both world really! lol We want to live in the country, but must wait until Rachel graduates because to move into the o****ry would require her to change schools and since she changed 3X last year we promised to try to keep her in the same school till graduation! THEN is is country living for us!!

Lucky you! But really, I wouldn't trade rural/country living for anything - not even a Michael's within minutes :)

Just and update on what my Smash book looks like to date if anyone cares :)

That is awesome...I would love to start one, but I have a feeling it would be hard for me to keep up with it, but one day I would love to do a journal abt me for my kids

Cool Gina! Thanks for sharing!! Is this something you add photos too also, or is it all just the planner aspect? I'm not totally sure how smashbooks work.

Did anyone else make one of these too?? I would love to see them!

This looks awesome, Gina!!

Ginger, I'm not sure, but I think you can add what you want...pictures, journaling, quotes on sticky tabs. I guess it would depend if you want it to be acid free or what not??

PLANNERS! That's what I plan on doing! :D

I'm going to do one of these one day too :D

Thanks so much Sarah for your links to Amazon - I found them there!! :D

Anyone know where I could look here in Australia?? KMart, Typo, Smiggles or Kikki.K ??

TARGET AN HOUR AWAY?! How do you survive?? LOL!

I have a Target and Wal-Mart within 2 minutes of me directly across the street from each other. I have to TREK to Michael's a whole 10 minutes away. hehe <3

DID I hear correctly that TARGET has Smash Books ??!!?? Thanks for that information... I'll let you know if they have them over here!! :D They are 45 minutes away but we're in the country at the moment living on the Hawkesbury River - when we move the shops will only be up to 15 minutes away :)

These Books look great... just watched the video at Amazon & I'm going a hunting here for one <3

I bought a Smash book, and started smashing, but I didn't like how it was going, so I stopped. I am going to start back. I was just doing it too randomly, and it wasn't telling any kind of story. I at least want it to be a little bit cohesive and with some stories to go with the random memorabilia I've been putting in.

Gina, is looking great! Last week I bought exactly the same book at Michaels, but then I returned and got a Sn@p! one. I'm planning on documenting my weight loss journey.

I do a few digital "Smash Pages" with photos that really don't have a story, just a neat photo, or elements in kits that are totally too cute to not put somewhere but they don't fit any photos I have. They are great for adding a page where needed to have two-pagers facing each other correctly.

I also have Smash books where I keep my ticket stubs, magazine clippings, etc... There are a few photos on my blog here.

I need more help in finding a SMASH BOOK locally please... I've tried Target & they have heard of them but don't have any :(

I know I can get one via Amazon but that would cost me postage as well... Can anyone help me ??

Jemima where are you from?
I'm from Italy and on Amazon.it (the local one) if I spend 19€, the shpping costs are free. So maybe you can look at this offer for your country!
Or had you look at ebay?

I know in Target you can get them either where the party supplies are or where they keep their albums and scrapbooking supplies. I first asked in my local Target and they didn't know about it, but I did find it in that store ;)

I have no idea how I missed this thread before - but wow! Cute idea - but I really dont need to get started on something else....but this looks like it could be addicting!!
