Hi there,

I'm Jen...I am getting reacquainted with scrapping, I have taken a couple year break. I used to be heavily addicted, LOL. Then our family was getting ready to make a big move to Okinawa, Japan and my life that was already crazy busy got crazier and busier, so I backed away. Then, when we got settled here in Japan I found that my internet connection was soooooo slow that I couldn't even download all my goodies:( We recently got a new faster connection and so here I am trying again. I have done three layouts so far and I'm feeling like I am getting my mojo back, it's like riding a bike.

Anyway, I am chigirl's daughter. So, if you see the same pictures scrapped twice, you ARE seeing double hehe

Hi, i'm so happy to see you scrapping again and very happy to have you here at GS with me. It's a great place to scrap and everyone is sooo nice and friendly, make yourself at home.
 
Hello Jen... You're living in Japan, now? Cool... I always want to go there just to dress up in kimono, LOL!

Wow, welcome, Jen! You are a long way away! I know because I too used to live on Okinawa. My dad was stationed to Kadina in the mid-1950s. It's still there, isn't it? I imagine that it's changed a lot. I have so many wonderful memories of living there as a child. I hope you are like it there, and I know you already like it here! :)
