"save as" and invalid marker types

I need to pick your brains! I am trying to create a paper and it saves fine as a .psd but when I do "save as" .jpg the files will not open. I get an error, "Could not open because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found." I had this problem once before, but I just saved the .psd to a jump drive, took it to another computer, and was able to so a successful "save as" that way. This time, it's not saving properly on either computer. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!
 
Hi Lucinda! I don't have the answer, but I am interested what you find out! I didn't want to read and run. I hope someone has the answer for you!
