Hello, new to digital scrapbooking

Hi! I am Heather. Air Force wife and mom to four currently calling Ohio home :)

I used to paper scrap when my first baby came. I scrapped him three huge albums his first year. When number two came along, my first girl, I switched gears to sewing and never paper scrapped again. Now I have a closet of stuff collecting dust...but try as I might I no longer have time to get it allllllll out, paper scrap, and get it put away before the kids ruin it all. So...

Finially taking the plunge into digi. My hubs got me PSE8 years ago and I have been too overwelmed to get far with it. One of my friends here has been guiding me and giving me the push I need. Now i can't stop! hehe!

Hi, I am also new to this digital scrapbooking world. I am using Photoshop CS4. I took a photoshop class four years ago and never did anything with it. Now that I finally have my own laptop I am taking the plunge! My daughter keeps asking when she will have a scrapbook like her brothers. Hopefully I can do this. I am really enjoying it but some of the tutorials and chat rooms are overwhelming. THis is my first forum.

first off, WELCOME to GS! :) Secondly...OMG, I've said the same thing! How do people with young kids paper scrap?!
 
Welcome to GingerScraps!!! I am so very much in awe that you scrapped three albums of your oldest his first year! I took me quite a while to crap my daughter's first year, and I didn't get much done until I started digiscrapping!

Oh Heather, digi is so addicting!! I started digi in 2005 and in 2006 I sold all my paper supplies and was so thankful. As it turned out, that year we moved and the military gave us an alotted weight limit and I was so thankful not to have my whole room of scrapbooking supplies in that weight count because I knew we would have been over big time!! eek!! Ebay is a great place to sell as is Craigs Lists. Since you military, maybe there is a Bookoo in your area. I know that is fairly new and something they were trying to keep closer to military bases, so it might be in your area. Not sure. Either way, if you sell it, good luck!!
