Hi from Omaha! I have been doing paper scrapbooking for over 10 years. I haven't yet made my first digital page but have sure been learning from all the different forums. I lost my husband unexpectedly May 2010 after 28 years of marriage. We have two daughters. The oldest is married and the very proud step-mom of Jackson who is completely my grandson. Have lots of pics of him (of course) so that is where I'm going to start with my digital scrapping. Currently I use SBC 4.0 by Creative Memories. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts and for all the great ideas.

H Becky, welcome to GS! It truly breaks my heart to hear about your husband. That's one of my greatest fears in life: finding someone who is perfect for me, then losing them. :consoling2:

I hope you enjoy it here; have some fun and make some new friends.

Can't wait to see some digital layouts of that grandson! :)

I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you can delight in your children and grandchildren. I can't wait to see your digi layouts! It will be so fun to watch you grow as a digi artist!!

Hi Becky! Welcome to GS and the wonderful world of digi. My heart breaks that you have lost your husband. My DH and I have 2 DD's. One his and one ours, and yes, I totally feel the love for your Jackson. Mine is Ben.
I too was a CM paper scrapper....I've bounced to digi and a happy camper. I have a bunch of programs [although not the cm digi one] and happy to assist as i can. I love teaching digi.

Welcome, Becky! I was also a paper-scrapper for several years before I learned digi - you'll find that experience will help you a whole lot! After designing pages is the same whether paper or PC. I'm so sorry to hear you lost your husband, I can only imagine how hard that would be. I hope you'll feel right at home here!
 
Hey Becky. I'm new here also. You'll love digital scrapbooking. I'm addicted and I bet when you start... you'll be in the boat with most of the rest of us. Nice to meet you.
