Hi everyone,

My friend Michelle (msbrad) showed me this site yesterday and I was immediately hooked! I have been interested in digital photography and scrapping for a while, but never seemed to want to put forth any effort into paper scrapping. I would try, but didn't like the finished product and usually wound up throwing away the page. I have been talking to Michelle a lot lately and she has been showing me some amazing things that she's doing with photoshop and I'm just itching to try it out for myself!

Being that I am reletavely new to this I will probably need some help/guidance/support along the way. I understand this is a very helpful community and I look forward to seeing what will come of my new creations.

You are in the right place!! Welcome to Gingerscraps. I am one of the site managers (aka the queens right hand) and I (or Sarah the queens left hand) are here to answer questions and we have lOTS of wonderful people that will be more than happy to help as well!!

I share your feelings about paper scrapping sometimes; one wrong snip and you have a colorful piece of trash! Blah. I mess up a lot, so I like digi scrapping. hehe

Superpsyched you're here! Definitely post any questions you have; it seems like we really have a wealth of knowledge here, everyone seems to know something different! :D
 
Hey Debbie! Welcome to GS and the wonderful world of digi "officially". You will do great. You have the concept of layers which is the biggest hurdle.

Welcome, Debbie! So glad to see another digi-fan join our wonderful community. There's a wonderful group of ladies here, with a wealth of knowledge, so be sure to ask any questions you have. Welcome, Debbie! Hope you'll have lots of fun! I remember how EXCITING it was when I was first learning, and how dang proud of myself I was once I finally "got" layers and made my first LO! I wanted to show it to EVERYONE on the internet - EVERYWHERE! LOL! I hope you'll post in the gallery so we can all cheer you on. :)
