Sizing double page for web

Sorry in advance if this question is already posted somewhere else, I looked a little. Anyhow, I know how to create a double LO and split it for uploading to the web and printing but how can I save the double page as one LO for the web. I've tried this before and either had it get distorted or still be too big of a file. So, what numbers do I need when I resize the image? Thanks!!
 
Like I said I KNOW the long side is 600, the short side will come automatically! lol As long as you keep perspective! But Thanks Sarah!!
 
I wondered this too! I don't do doubles often, but when I do, I end up just uploading them cut in half because I couldn't figure it out. :)
