Resizing images in PSE 7.0

I switched over to PSE 7.0 from 6.0 this week but for the life of me, can't figure out how to resize the image in 7.0 in order to post in the gallery. Everytime I change the pixels to 300 dpi, it changes the size of the image back to 12 x 12! Any suggestions? thanks!
 
300 dpi is printing size. 12x12 at 300 dpi is perfect for printing. You want 72 dpi. 600 x 600 pixels.
 
If you are utilizing that method, you have to check the resampling box. Otherwise the size and resolution will continue to be linked and change one with the other.

The best way is to use the Save for Web feature. I've got a video or two on how to do that.
