Scrapbooking Terms

Hi, I'm new to scrapbooking and was wondering what you can do with with items that say CU, S4H, CU4CU, etc? I have seen others but can't remember the abbreviations.

For example, If I buy CU designer's resources, can those be included in a personal free kit "as is" or do I have to create a derivative item or does it depend on the designer's TOU? I'm so confused.

I'd appreciate if someone can tell me what all those scrapbooking terms are used for.

CU - Commercial Use (Designers can buy this and use it on their designs)
S4H - Scrap For Hire - You can use this if you were making cards or something to sell and make money on

As far as what CU can be used on is up to each designer - you can read it on their TOU
 
This is SUCH a good topic to start. Something like this that explains all the basic 'slang' of digi scrapping would be so helpful to newbies! :)
 
We are actually working on a master list of all the digi words!!
One of our sugar cookies asked me about this just last week!
So be on the lookout for that soon :)
 
yes the list is great, but unfortunately each designer's TOU's are probably all a little different. so i would be especially carefull with CU stuff as it gets abused alot. looking forward to the list :)
