Organize Scrapbooking downloads~ Tip

Wooooooooow, I didn't know about that utility to extract multiple archives!!! That's exactly what I needed!! Thank you very very much for sharing, you saved my life! (I have so many files to extract in my disk.) :)

I like how you organize your files by alpha and word art etc but then how do you make sure what you are using for challenges are all items bought for GS? I mainly do challenges for GS and SNP and can't figure out a good system that lets me find what I want and use what will count for challenges. Hope that all made sense...

Have you tried tagging? Or maybe you could have different folders for different stores.

I do:
Digi Stuff > Sites > Designers > Kits

As for Challenges etc....when I place into the gallery UL folder [within photos] I tag the date and what it is for...helps with credits-
PLUS, when creating the document in photoshop : File > File info > and type in whatever you want.

I would just tag the kit preview with the store information. I love tagging my previews! It makes it so easy to find a kit for my photos! I'll tag it with boy, baby, Disney, swimming, lake, geocache, camping.... There are some kits that have tons of tags and some with none or one. :)

*Update*- I do my organizing a but differently now, because I am a Mac girl now :) But this is still a great tutorial for all you PC users :)]
Thanks for the tips, Ginger! I knew I liked you (I'm a die hard Mac fan)! So... do you use photos for Mac? How do you organize your pics? I'm hating photos for Mac and have reverted back to iPhoto, but then that means I have two photo libraries and a full hard drive! I am looking into getting a third party photo organization app and would love recommendations!
