Tutorial on my blog today: Realistic Paint Splashes on Your Scrapbook Pages

What program were you using? I am in PSE and when I double click my layers palette I can rename it...do you know how to open the blending options in PSE? Thanks!

I use photoshop cs5, guess I should have specified that... Maybe a PSE user can elaborate on how to open the style/blending palette in PSE?

On PSE the blending options is above the layers palette and the opacity is right next to that. not sure if we have a menu like Char is showing, but after my breakfast date I will look around some more.

This is the closest thing I have found is this so far.....

And to get this I added a shadow (which can be removed) and clicked on the fx on the layer. Want the shadow gone? uncheck the shadow choice. I am thinking these are options that CS has that PSE doesn't.

Yeah, I use that style settings menu a lot...I don't know where there is anything in PSE that allows the texture to come through but I'd like it! Oh well...I do have CS5 now...I just need to dive into it! but I am a little apprehensive I guess....

Thank you so much -- I can see myself using this tip a lot!
