Hi there fellow scrappers,

My name is Jen and we just moved from Virginia to Okinawa, Japan. We are finally getting settled and I finally have my computers back, yay!

I have been into digital scrapping for about 3 years, but have recently taken a long break due to so many other commitments and then our move being a full time job practically!

I love scrapping and anything crafty, really. I have been going through withdrawals without any time or materials to let my inner creative self out lately! So, I am ready now to jump back in and start scrapping again. And with great timing since we will be having so many new adventures here to photograph!

My Mom is also a scrapper, she is the one who got me into this a few years back. She is actually on the CT here, her screen name is chigirl...so you may recognize my kids on my layouts as I start scrapping because they are the subject of a lot of her pages too:)

Glad to be here, looks and sounds like a fabulous place to scrap!

Welcome to GS, I know you are going to love it here, we're a very friendly group here in the forum and the shop is filled with designs from our talented designers. You just missed our Survivior contest for this year, I had so much fun. Maybe next year?
And of course, I'm looking forward to long-distance (and it's about tripled now isn't it) scrapping "with" you again, we'll have to figure out a time when we are both awake and in front of our screens. Maybe there will a speed scrap in the middle of the night???

Looking forward to seeing the kids in the gallery, members will think they are seeing double. hehe
 
How fun that your Mom got you into it! Yes - we LOVE her here!! Welcome and can't wait to see your Los - I bet you're just as talented as your Mom! :)
 
Welcome to GS, Jen! I feel like I know you and your family already through Judy. She is awesome and I can't wait to get to know you better as well! So glad you are here :)
 
wow well welcome!!! so awesome you and your mom scrap, i keep trying to get my mom in to it lol. japan is along ways away but scrapping is an awesome way to spend time with your mom :)
 
Hi Jen! Welcome to Ginger Scraps! I have to admit it's pretty awesome to get to scrap with your mom! Glad to hear that things have settled down now and that you can start to enjoy scrapping once again!! Can't wait to see your LOs and pics of Japan!
