Help! Images are "greyed" and won't upload!

I recently got back from my first trip to Walt Disney World. When I was viewing my photos, I rotated some of them so they would be in the correct position (lanscape or portrait).

I noticed aferwards that all of the images I rotated were now "greyed" as in this screenshot below:

When I went to upload my photos to my photo sharing website, none of the "greyed" ones will upload, only the images I didn't rotate will upload. Its' as if the other ones are now corrupt or invalid simply because I rotated them in Windows 7. What in the world did I do wrong? HELP!

Are they still in jpg format? If you rotated them and saved as something other than jpg, they won't upload. Just a thought!

thats what i'm thinking, maybe try opening them in ps and resaving them under a different name

Nope. They are still JPEGs. Seriously, all I did was rotate them. I'm so confused!

Check to see if they are hidden

Right click the file and choose...Properties...

Uncheck the 'Hidden' box / Apply / OK.

YES! That was IT! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Why in the world did me rotating photos cause them to be hidden? That is so silly. But, it WORKED so I don't care. You saved the day Barb!
