Thanks for the brush! It was a good excuse to scrap two more of my faded, old photos that I am trying to save.

For those of you that use GIMP, you can use ABR brushes. I figured it out today and it worked! I have always read that you can't use them in GIMP, so I haven't saved very many.

    Follow these directions:

    Place the ABR file

into its own folder. For instance a folder on your desktop named ABR-FILES.
Now open Gimp and go to Edit>Preferences>Folders and select Brushes.
Add the path to that new ABR-FILES folder to the brush path interface. Select ok to keep the changes.
Then restart Gimp. The new brush/brushes should be available now in the brushes palette.
Remember some ABR, PAT, and other Adobe files are not compatible with Gimp.

Have the PNG files been provided by any chance? These are such adorable brushes and I'd so love to use them. Thanks a bunch!

Yay, thanks for the help on getting .abr's to work in Gimp, girls! I'm going to have fun fun fun with this one!

Here it is! I used last month's buffet kit Here Comes the Sun by Pixelily Designs. I had fun using the brush as a stamp on my solid papers.

Here's my layout. I went for a retro theme to go with the picture.
