Enjoyed this challenge so much! Used it to make a LO that will go in a recipe book I'm making for my girls to take to college with them. Connie Prince's kit Kiss the Cook was perfect for this challenge! The retro image inspiration went well with the theme of the recipe book that features family recipes mixed with vintage photos. The stripes in the example image had me looking for backgrounds and elements with strong vertical lines.

Great inspiration! I took my inspiration from the stripes. My work uniform was a striped shirt, so I thought to scrap about my last job.

I went with food as my theme - loved that cute shape in the title and the multi-line title and the patterned paper. I'm so pleased with my new salad pot (never grown anything before, lol!) that I went with salad. Fresh lettuce has lots of flavor - who knew?
