As soon as I saw this challenge (and thanks for hosting), I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Problem is, I didn't have any kits to scrap this with - and couldn't find any that would fulfill my vision. It finally dawned on me that I had lots of beautiful Christmas kits that had the elegant, glittery papers and elements that I wanted for this layout - so I went about finding them in my stash.

I used the song "More than today" by Van Morrison (and others - but Van Morrison's version was "our" song. After a short, whirlwind courtship, we married on the 22nd of December. Gosh! When I look at this - all I can think of is how young we looked.

I have loved seeing these layouts! I really love layouts with song lyrics. For every song I didn't know, I went on Spotify and looked them up. But I already knew and loved most of them. Great layouts so far

Here's mine using Love My Son by Seatrout Scraps. The title is "Happy Birthday" from the happy birthday song (I know, pretty obvious he he)

Here's my Doggy in the Window (song search brought up Patti Page as original) he was free from a friend but is priceless to us already.

Ok I had to finish my 10th challenge so I used the March buffet for this one

    journaling:
When we were first married we would laugh and tease each other over the old Beatles song “Will you still love me when I’m 64?” Back then, that seemed like an eternity away. Now it is 2014 and we have just turned 64.....Where has the time gone? The song is very fitting and it turned out to be so very true....http://youtu.be/eCss0kZXeyE
