Default Using paper stackers and/or premade clusters

I often see these available as kit add-ons and/or part of a bundle. I think they look neat but I have NO idea how to effective use them in creating a layout so I never buy them. Any tips?

Ok, my opinion...I always have one( giggle).
    i like paper stackers.
    i like paint.
    i like clusters.

i appreciate the designers that have them as add ins to a kit. They worked creatively and inspire me to get pages completed quicker as I can add my pics easier than in a QP. I'm not a QP fan.

Select any I listed above and layer with your photos arranged to your choosing. Makes for super pages.

Ready made clusters are wonderful to use, althought I seldom do that. You can add some ellies of your own choice to these also. Quickpages work the same way. You don't have to use them as is, you can add some more from your stash and photos of course.

paper stackers let you add in your photos just how you want, and as many as you want, where as a QP only allows you to slide a set number of photos in to the openings.
I enjoy the ease of both stackers and QP, premade clusters are awesome as well to add a good bit of work in just a second, I especially love the word art clusters because they make awesome titles!!

I don't use them often (as a CT person, it's sort-of frowned upon) but I do afterwards when I'm not required to make the layout. I did use one in a recent layout because it fit around my journaling PERFECTLY and I just couldn't resist it!

Thanks for all the replies. Since I was struggling with my last double page spread for my Christmas photo book, I used paper stackers from Connie Prince (and a double page template from Aprilisa) and a cluster. I also used a quick page for my title page. So many QPs have just one photo space, it works great for copying in the pages/numbers.
