Journaling: This doll is magical to me because it brings back so many wonderful memories of when my one and only grandson was little. He wanted a doll and had asked his dad for one whenever they went to the store. His dad thought it was not a "manly" toy and would not buy him one. One day, when he came over, grammy surprised him with a doll all his own. He loved that doll! He was only two, but he knew that he could only play with that doll after his dad drove away. Chase is fourteen now and the doll doesn't get played with anymore, but it occupies a place of honor in my etagere in the foyer. Someday, Chase's son will have a doll all his own, too!

Journaling -I called my grandpa Grumpsy. He was an amazing man. He died shortly after his 101st birthday. If I live to that age I want to be like him. At 100 he was still going to the casino and playing 21. He was still bowling into his 90's. He loved watching and listening to sports. I'm sure that's were I got my love for watching sports.

    Journaling reads:
My husband works 24/7. Most of the time I feel like a single parent raising triplets. As the kids get older and more independent it leaves me feeling very alone. Two years ago I had this feeling like I wanted more, either another child or a pet. I always had pets growing up. Even after I married we had cats. I needed to fill this empty feeling so I told my husband about my feelings and we decided to add a dog to our lives. Daisy joined our family in April of 2011. Yes, she is a lot of work. More work then cats. But when I feel like crying because Iím alone and sad she brightens up my world. There are many days when I feel depressed. Daisy adds sunshine to my life. When I sit on the couch she always jumps on my lap because she wants to cuddle and give kisses. She loves me for who I am. I am very greatful for her love and look forward to her affection. She gives me hope that days will get better and she keeps me company when my husband is not around or my kids are gone on playdates or activities. Thank you Daisy you have become my best friend and I love you with all my heart.

journaling on page: I don’t have many things that I feel attached to but when looking for what is “magical” to me I realized that I carry my little e-cig around like it is a security blanket. I had smoked for over 1/2 of my life but thanks to it I haven’t smoked in over 2 years. I don’t even use it half the time, just having it with me is enough.

not in my journaling because I plan on printing this page, I had a very difficult time with this challenge because my Mom was an Air Force brat and never stopped moving so we never really collected "things" and then while I was gone in the Army our house burnt down and took all of my keepsakes with it. I never developed the habit of keeping things after that.

Template was from a template challenge in August by Craft-tastrophic, kit by Ponytails Designs A Little Dirt Never Hurt

Journaling reads: "Being a teenager is rough. For me that was amplified. When I was 15, a lot of my world changed. My mother filed for divorce. My dad had a heart attack, physically and emotionally. My mother immediately had a new boyfriend, and started drinking heavily. I got a job to keep the lights on at mine and my dads house. Somewhere amidst this, I found out that he may not be my bioligical father. That didn't change our close relationship. That year for Christmas, my mother couldn't afford much in the way of gifts but she bought me this heavy Zebra striped blanket. Here it is 13 years later, and this is still the only blanket I will sleep with.
This blanket took me from the hardships of being a teen, then college in a town 6 hours away from home, and then home again. This blanket has snuggled me when I was hurt, sad, sick, or happily dreaming. When it was time to share it with my husband, I tried, but eventually made him find his own blanket, haha. It has been a soft and snuggly comfort to all 5 of my children, and continues to be my favorite blanket. The sleep and comfort we get from it is simply "Magical"."

Alright, it is what it is. Image is linked. Journaling says: If I had to pick one object that gives me the power to be me, I would choose my laptop. It seems silly, but really... My talents and friends both reside here. I am a photographer, a digiscrapper, a Facebook addict, a mom, a missionary, and a helper. On my computer, I can be perfect. It is the only place where everything works out just the way I want it to. It is the only place I have control and feel at home.
