    Default Essential Programs

So, I got a new laptop this week [Friday], and today, I went to use my favorite program [Windows Live Writer]. I couldn't find it. After a full-on rant-slash-panic attack, I finally found the right download and have it installed

That, though, made me wonder which programs you would find essential in your daily lives. I use WLW weekly for writing the newsletters, and sometimes for my own blog. I use PSE daily, Sony Movie Studio Platinum daily, Spotify and Firefox. I need those programs. Every computer I use regularly needs to be able to handle those with ease (and sometimes all at once, )

So, what are YOUR essential programs?

Chrome, Trillian (more so I see the yahoo emails I get than actual chatting - I don't know the last time I did that), FB Messenger, Open Office, PSE (now), and my calculator. I've never even heard of WLW. I don't do a lot of complicated stuff on my comp. (Which is a good think considering how difficult it's being these days!) I'm glad you found it.

wow, that list is pretty long for me. In no particular order: PSE, CS, Yahoo IM, Word, Excel, Embird, PED Basic, Filezilla, Xcart, Lightroom.... I am sure I am missing some. I am actually in the process of putting everything back on my laptop after a clean reset.
