What did Santa bring you?

How was your Christmas? Did you get what you wanted? Did your kids get what they wanted???

We got DD a 2-wheeler and she was so surprised. She's been wanting a bike for like a year. When she saw it, she literally gasped and put her hand over her heart. It was so cute!

And DH actually surprised me with a gift (he's not the gift-giving type lol). I got a Bamboo Capture and I'm so excited!!! It's so easy to use and lots of fun. My MIL got me a Bind It All (I picked it out lol) and a "check point friendly" laptop backpack.

But my biggest, bestest gift will get here tonight: My mom is flying in from Michigan! I'm super duper excited to see her. And I know she's excited to see her grandkids. But I'm also bummed because she mailed us our gifts earlier this month; I promised that I wouldn't open them until she got here...but I'm too impatient and I want to open them NOW! lol

I didn't get a lot of pictures of the kids' presents (I have a video I need to upload for my parents)
but here's the best grin:

Ethan got THREE Lego Star Wars related things, TWO remote controlled vehicles, and Lego City set.
Madi got 2 Lego Friends sets (she now has every single set ), a package of My Little Pony (Cutie Mark Crusaders in their wedding duds), and a LOT of art supplies (including a USB-pencil sharpener )
They also got a CRAPTON of clothes, a couple movies, and Battleship,

Me? I got Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift (perfume), and LOTS of Colts related stuff

Sarah, your Madi and my Gen would be great friends. Gen loves the lego friends sets--well, she loves all legos! Gen got 2 smaller Friends sets for Christmas (the tree house and Stephanie's outdoor bakery), plus set 30105 cuz it came in a plastic bag instead of a box. That went in her stocking cuz I could squish the bag to fit into it lol.

One of Madi's favs is the treehouse! She smiled for a few days after we got that for her

I got my hubby's cooties for Xmas and have been sick as a dog for almost a week now. He was sick first and no matter how careful I was, I ended up with as well. Feeling a tad bit better today so things are looking up! I'm having a great Xmas despite all the coughing, blowing, sneezing, and wheezing. Merry Christmas everyone!

I didn't get anything from Santa, and I had my presents before today!

From Rachel I got a Vera Bradley laptop sleeve:



And from Sarah I got a necklace. The top center stone is mine, then down the left side are Chuck's, Tabatha's, Aaron's, Patrick's, Sarah's then Rachel's birthstones.



And Chuck got me my embroiderery program that I have been using the free version of!! Of course, mine and Rachel's BIG present is our trip to Orlando Thursday to Universal Studios!!
