i agree...text justify (if u don't want to do yourself) to look right then the shorter words would be taller. but i would definitely start in PSE because it can do what word can.

also u talked about columns...if u take the text tool and hold and drag it will make a TEXT BOX the size u want...then use justified...hope that helps

Oh, I have 10 on the laptop. I think I have 9 on the desktop. I will check in a bit.

I know you can in CS5 as well - you can have it stretch to fit the area - hopefully you figured it out - otherwise i like the idea of doing it in word and copying it over - let word do the thinking for you ;)

Nope, it doesn't work on PSE 9. That must have been one of the updates from 9 to 10. Sorry Barbara!

I have PSE7 and it will justify my whole paragraph except the last line which is significantly shorter. So I would think it should work to some degree in 9...?

I always just type gibberish to get another line and then shorten the text box so that the fake line doesn't show. Then it's all justified. I have PSE 5.0 and use this trick all the time. I love justified text!
