    Default Subway Art

So you know how there's awesome subway art all over Pinterest? I want to make my own, but I want my words to be in a block where it is all is squared. I hope you know what I mean? I don't want the first line to be longer or shorter than the second, third, fourth line...etc. I want all the lines to be the appear to be equal in width.

    Is that possible in PSE9?

I know in CS5 - you can change the spacing between the letters. Is this what you would want? So a 3 letter word would be as a long as a 6 letter word but them spacing between the letters can be bigger?

Do you have examples of what you are talking about? I will go check Pinterest and see if I can figure it out.

I see it now. I did some of that, but with my grandkids birth information. I just turned and enlarged and manuevered the words.

Otherwise, if you want the spacing the same between the letters, you just use the Free Transform tool to resize the text too.

Yes, exactly. I know i can do it manually by adjusting spacing and font size, but wanted to be able to keep it more square...you know how newspapers and magazines keep columns. I'm wondering if I should make it in Word. Hmmm...

I've recently made some subway art, but I just messed around with spacing. It's not perfect, but I made it fill the page, if that makes sense. I don't see how that's really relevant to your question but ... yeah.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was trying to avoid finagling the sizes myself. I did create a column in a WORD document and am playing with the art there. Then, I'll try to copy it over to PSE9 to make it pretty.

I think the justify text would be what you want - that is what they do in newspapers. Try Ctrl + J or Ctrl + Shift + J
