    The company has been struggling for awhile now. Hopefully another great American brand snatches up the recipes/rights AND is able to buy/reopen at least some of the factories. TBH, I'm not a fan of Twinkies, but I do like King Dons (haven't had one in years though. Probably since I was in school lol).
    My mom is really upset about Hostess going out of business. But TBH, I don't really care about them closing in terms of what I eat. I'm just sad for the people who are now out of a job (the same way I feel whenever any US company or factory closes).

    yeah thats the first thing i thought about too, really really sucks!

    What's sad was that I wasn't even surprised that the one here was closing. We have one plays open (Mars candy) and three more close/lay-off

    -USPS distribution plant (state capital will now re-route to KC before coming BACK to Topeka :O )

    On the news yesterday they announced that the company most likely would be bought and the new company would begin selling them, so they may not be dead totally.
